Our checklist helps us make sure your appoinment goes smooth.

Appointments are made especially for you; we do not double book. Broken, missed appointments, and short-notice cancellations may result in a serious delay in treatment. Please allow at least 48 hours notice to us if you can not make your appointment.

It is important we have your current contact information at all times.

Arrival order does not mean seating order. Our schedule is not designed this way.

Afternoon and evening appointments are in high demand. Missing one will unreasonably delay you treatment and we will ask you to reschedule for an earlier time. Regarding siblings – missed appointments may need to be scheduled separately.

  • Confirm your appointment: Call or email the dental office to confirm the date and time of your appointment. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Update your medical history: If you have any changes to your medical history, medication list, or contact information, please inform the dental office before your appointment.
  • Prepare for paperwork: Arrive a few minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork, such as medical history forms, insurance information, or consent forms.
  • Bring necessary documents: Bring a valid form of identification, your dental insurance card (if applicable), and any referral or pre-authorization documents required by your insurance provider.
  • Be aware of your insurance coverage: If you have dental insurance, be aware of your coverage limits, copayments, and deductibles. If you have questions about your coverage, call your insurance provider or the dental office in advance.
  • Consider any concerns: Think about any oral health concerns or questions you have and write them down to discuss with your dentist or hygienist during your appointment.
  • Practice good oral hygiene: Brush your teeth thoroughly before your appointment and floss if possible. This will help ensure accurate evaluation of your oral health and reduce the risk of any discomfort during your cleaning or exam.
  • Avoid eating or drinking anything that may stain your teeth: Refrain from consuming coffee, tea, wine, or other foods or drinks that may cause staining or discoloration before your appointment.

By following this checklist, you can help ensure a smooth and successful dental appointment. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact the dental office.
