How our voicemail works

We use speech-to-text. Using keywords, messages are forwarded and routed so we can handle them as efficiently as possible. Be sure to speak clearly so your voice is accurately transcribed. Sometimes, voice is not transcribed accurately and your message may not be properly routed. That’s ok. We still get it – but it may take a little longer for us to address if it’s not routed the right way. It’s very helpful for us if you include the patient name and birthday.

Our in-office and after-hours voicemail prompts are set-up like this:

After office hours

There are two options: Non-urgent and Urgent.

Non-urgent, Option #1 – Use the non-urgent option for most business needs. If you need to contact the on-call dentist after-hours, use the urgent option. At any time during the greeting you can press 1 to be transferred to our non urgent voicemail box.

Urgent #9 – For urgent matters: press 9. Your message will be sent to the on-call provider mobile device.

During office hours

If you reach our voicemail during office hours and need to talk with someone fast, press #9 during the greeting. Your message will be forwarded to our devices and someone will re-prioritize what they’re doing to reach back to you. Please reserve this for urgent dental problems, healthcare providers, hospitals, pharmacies, benefit providers, etc.
